Accesing the desktop / web app

Maharishi Veda App can be used on any computer via your web browser. Simply go to https://desktop.maharishivedaapp.com and sign in with your account or create a new account/subscription.

If you already have a subscription via the Apple App Store or Googe Play store, and you get an error message when you attempt to sign in via your web browser, please do the following:

  1. Ensure that you have the latest version of the mobile app (see below)
  2. Go to settings in the app (gear icon in the upper right) and ensure that you are signed in. If you’re signed in, you will see the email address that you sign in with at the top, otherwise, there will be a link to sign in or create an account
  3. If you don’t already have a username and a password, you can create an account here and it will be linked to your App Store or Play Store subscription
  4. Once you are signed into the app and your email address is displayed that the top of settings, you can sign into the web app using the same credentials

Install Latest App Version

To see If a new update is available, please click on the correct link below for your device and follow the onscreen instructions if you are presented with an update option.

Device Compatibility

Minimum Device/Software Requirements:
iOS 12.0 or higher on an iOS device -or-
Android 6.0 or higher on an Android device -or-
Chrome, Safar, Edge, or Firefox on a desktop computer

Close and Reopen the App

APPLE

  1. Open the app on your iPhone
  2. Bring up the multitasking view by double tapping the home button on the bottom of the iPhone
  3. Close out the app maharishi veda app by swiping up on the screen until the app screen disappears from the view
  4. Reopen the app and try again

ANDROID

  1. Launch the recent applications menu. How you get to this menu will vary a bit from device to device. On the HTC One, for example, you tap the home button twice to get to Recent Apps, whereas it takes a long press on the Samsung Galaxy S4’s physical button, and an on-screen button takes you to this location on the Nexus 5.
  2. Find the application(s) you want to close on the list by scrolling up from the bottom.
  3. Tap and hold on the application and swipe it to the right to close the app and stop it from running in the background.
  4. Reopen the app and try again

Delete and Reinstall the App

APPLE
To delete an app and reinstall it, follow these steps.

  1. From the home screen, tap and hold on the app icon until it jiggles.
  2. Then tap the “x” icon in the upper-left corner of the app to delete it. If you see a message that says, “Deleting [app name] will also delete all of its data,” tap Delete.
  3. From your device, click the link https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/maharishi-veda/id977489377?mt=8 to reinstall the app, or go to the app store and search for “maharishi veda” and install.

ANDROID
To delete an app and reinstall it, follow these steps.

  1. Open your device’s Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps or Application manager.
  3. Tap the app you want to uninstall. You may need to scroll to find the app.
  4. Tap Uninstall.
  5. From your device, tap HERE to reinstall the app, or go to the Play Store and search for “maharishi veda” and install.

Note: removing an app and reinstalling it does not cancel your subscription.
